UPDATE: SOLD OUT!

Limited Edition run of 42 Aaron Murray “Blue Sharkskin”. Custom hand sprayed, silkscreened, signed and numbered 10.25” X 33.25” “Fingers” Pool Boards will be dropping on dogtownxsuicidal.com Friday, July 24, at 12:00 noon. These boards are custom sprayed by Jim “Red Dog” Muir using 6 coats of paint. Original art by Kevin Ancell. 1-color black silk screen with silver metallic powder mixed in. When rotated in the light you see the iridescent grey/blue/gold “Sharkskin” change colors.

It’s hard for kids to understand that there was a time when skateboarding wasn’t on cereal boxes and there were no X Games or anything like that. There weren’t even cameras around. People were just trying things on their own and some of it was unbelievable. I’ve been fortunate to have had a lot of friends that were skateboarders. Having Lance Mountain draw one of the first Suicidal shirts was huge. Punk rockers said we weren’t punk and metal people said we weren’t metal, but Suicidal kind of became a soundtrack for a lot of skaters. They were the first people to get into the band. When we got asked to do the cover, kinda the first not-pro skateboarder to be on it, it was a huge honor. It was definitely a highlight and I’m very proud of it. —Mike Muir

This is a custom shape reflecting the classic 70's lines of the first pool decks. Original art was created by Ric Clayton aka RxCx, the artist behind many iconic graphics of the past. The color fade was hand-sprayed by Red Dog in Venice, CA. The artwork was screenprinted by Chicken and his crew at the legendary Screaming Squeegees. Limited to 14 total for sale here on dogtownXsuicidal.com all signed by Jim Muir. Includes 6-song Suicidal Tendencies CD "Know Your Roots" with art by Ric Clayton.
